Surprisingly good taste

I have gotten very specific on how I like my coffee over the years and have tried a few alternatives without luck. I was surprised how good this tasted. I can't say it's exactly like coffee but still yummy. It is strong which works well for making my capucinno which I usually use espresso for. However, it boosts your immune system and since I have autoimmune issues I may have to stop as my stomach has been worse. Not sure if it is related yet.

I like the idea but needs a little refining

I quit coffee recently and wanted a substitute, so decided to give this a try. I do like the flavor overall, but it has a slightly burned taste (like some coffees do), which I'm not a fan of. Also, as others have said, it's ground too fine to use in any coffee brewing device that doesn't have a filter. I made it with a fine mesh tea strainer, and it clogged the strainer, but I somehow also still ended up with a sludge at the bottom of the cup. I would try this again if they offered a raw version (or at least a lighter roast to avoid the burned taste) and a courser ground, but unfortunately this version doesn't work for me.

Better than coffee...

No caffeine, no acidity, and the flavor is more robust than regular coffee. A kind of woody taste, maybe. Some people say it tastes sweet, but I don't think so. I thought I'd have to give up my morning cup of coffee, Never say Never!

Tastes great...just doesn't work in French Press

MannaBrew tastes great. I actually like it a little better than the taste of "real" coffee. It is a lot smoother and has a nice smell. Only problem is it is too finely ground to work in a French Press. It clogs up the filter so you can't pour it out. I have to pour it through a normal strainer in order for it to work...which is a pain in the butt. If anyone from MannaBrew is listening...please make a courser ground version so we can use it in French Press. Thanks.
